Glockengießerei - Heimathaus

The bell-foundry, which was found in the year 1385, has remained preserved in its original condition

The old bell foundry was built in 1385. It is located in a beautifully constructed house which once was home to craftsmen. In the same building, there is also an ancient bakery from the second half of the 20th century. It is now home to a huge collection of tools once used for barrel-making, as well as for ancient scales and weights. Right next to the bell foundry there is a romantic courtyard, from which you have a splendid view over the lush riverside woods.

Every Saturday, you can enjoy a documentary about the life of the German-speaking population in the Austrian-Hungarian-monarchy.
